Rum, cola and a good squeeze of lime. The long drink that never lets you down, not even at 2am.
On the palate: sweet and classic. Goes down easy, no overthinking.
The lime matters more than it looks: it cuts the cola's sweetness and brings the rum forward, otherwise you've just got a soft drink. It came out of Cuba in the late 1800s and it's still the group order by default, cold and uncomplicated. Get it by the pitcher when the table starts filling up.
