Pegu Club
Gin, orange curaçao, lime, angostura, orange bitters.
A dry colonial sour, built on citrus, bitters and gin.
On the sip: fresh, dry and classic. An aperitivo pour, when you want something lively.
The Pegu Club was the British officers' private club in Rangoon, Burma, and the cocktail took its name and colonial character from it. Orange curaçao and a double dose of bitters make it more complex than your average gin sour. Harry Craddock enshrined it at the Savoy.
