Malibu was born in Jamaica in 1890 as a rum-and-coconut liqueur, then became the base for decades of beach cocktails. The Sunrise is the most photogenic version: grenadine sinks slowly to the bottom, building that orange-to-red gradient. The drink that taught the whole world what 'holiday in a glass' means.
