Punch was born in the 1600s among English traders in the Caribbean, mixing rum, lime, sugar and spice to make trade alcohol drinkable. The golden rule goes 'one of sour, two of sweet, three of strong, four of weak', and we keep to it with a modern tropical touch. By the pitcher it's the right call for a whole table.
