Invented in the forties by Pat O'Brien at his Bourbon Street bar in New Orleans. The name comes from the hurricane-lamp-shaped glass it was served in, now a French Quarter icon. Two rums, passion fruit and citrus: looks innocent, but it has a reputation for knocking you off your feet.
