Fernet-Branca
Minty, relentless, long finish. The shot that closes the night.
On the sip: bitter, bold and classic. In the Italian aperitivo tradition.
Fernet-Branca has existed since 1845 and the recipe is still secret: herbs, roots and a menthol hit that clears everything that came before. In Argentina they drink it with cola; in Italy neat or iced after dinner. At Jimmy we serve it cold — the amaro for people who aren't afraid of bitter.
We make it at Jimmy's cocktail lab, Via Petroni 32/c — university area of Bologna, four minutes from the Two Towers. Open every evening from 6pm.
