Cynar Spritz
Cynar, prosecco, soda, orange.
Built on Cynar, so it's vegetal, bitter and barely sweet. The spritz for a palate that's already been around.
On the palate: bitter and dry. In the Italian aperitivo tradition.
Cynar is an artichoke amaro, and in a spritz it works better than you'd expect: a vegetal note that cuts almost all of the usual sweetness. Same bubbly ritual, a lot more character. People who try it once tend to stop bothering with the others.
